Abby Kelly Gualdoni joined the Sikh Coalition in January 2024. In her role as Senior Media and Communications Manager, she works to ensure respectful and responsible coverage of the issues that matter most to the Sikh community through correspondence with reporters at local, national, and international media outlets; she also works to raise the public profile of both the Sikh Coalition’s work and the U.S.-based Sikh community in general.

Before joining the Sikh Coalition, Abby served as an Account Executive at a Washington, DC-based public relations and event firm, Susan Davis International (SDI), from 2019-2023. During her tenure, she executed grassroots and national media strategies for an array of clients, primarily focused working with the military non-profits and national museums and memorials. Prior to her time at SDI, Abby was contracted by DCMilitary.com to the Public Affairs Office at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall as a staff writer for their weekly newspaper, Pentagram, and worked with the garrison public affairs officer, community relations officer, command information officer, and editor to help support command information objectives. Abby’s additional experience includes time with the Cincinnati Enquirer to support their election coverage in 2016 and at the Truman National Security Project.

Abby received her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with minors in Political Science, International Business, and Economics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
