Dear Supporter Ji,

My name is Anmol Aulakh, and I recently joined Sikh Coalition as a Community Development Manager. As I’m becoming familiar with our line of work, I feel honored to say that every experience I’ve had to connect with our community has been incredibly meaningful to me. Each individual I met has given me greater insight into understanding what it means to be part of our amazing community, how to grow into a better individual, and more importantly what our Sangat really needs.

This year, our community development team has placed emphasis on creating more bilingual content than ever before. We’ve been updating our resources on a diverse range of topics –  including our latest Know Your Rights material on immigration and trucking policy – to ensure our Sangat is equipped with the knowledge they need.

With our Sikh youth, we’ve continued to engage with grassroot leaders through our education and ‘Get Out the Vote’ fellowship programs. We were also able to launch our newest initiative: the Sikh Student Association Sangat-Seva Grant Program. Five outstanding SSAs each spearheaded a unique project to uplift Sikh awareness and promote collective action by engaging with their local community, hosting innovative seva projects, and advancing Sikh representation within their collegiate institutes.

With our Gurdwara Sahib Jis, we strive to connect with our local Sangat – in-person and on a national level. We shared resources at the Yuba City Nagar Kirtan and spoke at Gurdwara Sahib Ji programs across the country, including New York, Indiana, Georgia, New Jersey, and more. By having the opportunity to meet with our community face-to-face, this direct involvement allows us to create meaningful change and truly impactful work. It’s more than just sharing resources from pen to paper – it’s about connecting heart to heart with Sangat members like you.

Supporter Ji, we are here for our community during the challenges and triumphs alike. But we cannot continue to do all of this work without the generous support and investment of Sangat members like you. Will you help support our essential work to protect our community? Your support – no matter how big or small – can make a great difference!

Thank you for your continued support of the Sikh Coalition, and I look forward to working alongside you and our community!

Chardi Kala,

Anmol Aulakh
